This highly secure, stamp-size T-PRO SD Memory Card weighs a mere 2 grams, yet has
a high storage capacity. T-PRO SD card can be used in a variety of digital products
such as digital music players, cell phones, handheld PCs, digital cameras and video
camcorders; smart phones, car navigation systems, and electronic books. Features
a fast transfer rate for reliable copy/download/backup; user selectable mechanical
write-protect switch on the exterior card casing; and it is a non-volatile storage
solution that resists breakage as they are not affected by extreme heat or cold.
The SD Card standard is jointly developed by Matsushita Electronic (best known for
its Panasonic brand name products), SanDisk, and Toshiba. The T-PRO cards are meeting
all the standards including security, capacity, performance and environmental requirements.
Key enhancements of T-PRO SD Card includes cryptographic security for protection
of copyrighted data, a 150X improvement in maximum data transfer rate and a user-selectable
write protect switch on the card casing. Improvements in Electro Static Discharge
(ESD) tolerance are also provided through enhancements to the card's protective
casing.
